The large turnout during this morning's recreational training session at Gávea was just further proof that the team continues to have the fans' trust in its pursuit of the Brazilian Championship title. Tomorrow, against Ipatinga, the players expect a full Maracanã stadium in a match seen as decisive for Flamengo's renewed push in the competition.

"The fans know that a victory is very important and will come to Maracanã. I urge our fans to come out in droves and cheer us on, because we will repay this support on the field with a lot of fighting and always striving for victory," said right-back Leonardo Moura.

The Flamengo's number 2 doesn't expect an easy match and acknowledges that his opponent has been performing better than at the start of the competition. However, since Flamengo still dreams of the title, Leo Moura is confident that his players will seize the initiative in pursuit of victory.

"In this final stretch, every game is decisive. I don't see Ipatinga as desperate to escape relegation today, because they've been playing well. But there's no doubt that the game is much more important for us than for them."
