This Friday (15), the Flamengo delegation went to the hotel and began gathering for tomorrow's classic. After dinner, the athletes attended a lecture on doping, given by the President of the CBF Doping Control Commission, Dr. Fernando Solera.

"This type of continuing education work that the National Commission of Football Doctors (CNMF) has been carrying out is essential for athletes to understand the risks of self-medication and other missteps related to doping. Most doping cases are called 'accidental doping,' where athletes have no intention of doping, but it ends up happening due to a lack of information provided to them. I hope that today's meeting will help keep Flamengo on the right track, as it has always been in the fight for clean sport," said Dr. Márcio Tannure, Head of the club's Medical Department.

Botafogo and Flamengo face each other at 16pm this Saturday for the 15th round of the 2016 Brasileir'ao. The match will take place at the Luso Brasileiro stadium and will be broadcast on the Premiere channel.
