Willians and Correa disapprove of the team's performance and ask for a reaction in the match against Goiás

Flamengo left the field booed by the fans this Saturday (25.09), after losing at home to Palmeiras, 3-1. The result did not please the more than 13 thousand red-black fans who attended Engenhão and also did not leave the players at all satisfied. As soon as they left the field, they themselves disapproved of the team's performance and asked for a reaction in the duel with Goiás, Tuesday (28.09), at Serra Dourada.
Midfielder Correa, who came on in the second half, knows that the team didn't perform as expected, but he showed confidence in a recovery in the next rounds.
"Our performance was horrible, we did the opposite of what we've been doing in recent matches. Now we have to work hard because there's another match on Tuesday," said the midfielder.
Willians, in turn, urged the team to start scoring the first goal in games. After all, in the last three matches, the team has had to chase the score. Against Grêmio and Fluminense, they drew. But not this Saturday.
"We have to wake up. We never take the lead in matches. Then, when we go 2-0 down, it becomes much more difficult to recover," he added.
The red-black squad will return this Sunday (26.09), at 10 am, in Gávea. The team will train again on Monday morning (27.09) and travel to Goiânia in the afternoon.
