Flamengo fans never stop supporting the team, even in the most difficult moments. Now that the team is on the rise, aiming to return to the top of the Brazilian Championship table, the players rely even more on the support from the stands.
Regardless of playing away from Maracanã, the red-and-black team will feel at home and asks that the fans also make the João Havelange Olympic Stadium their second home.
"We're asking fans to go to Engenhão and show what the Nação Rubro-Negra is all about, a unique fan base that, regardless of the team's position in the table, supports the players and truly makes a difference," said defender Jean.
Midfielder Willians summed up the importance of Flamengo fans in just a few words.
"Flamengo without the fans isn't Flamengo. The fans give a lot of support and the player feels it when the fans go to the stadium and give it their all," he said.
