Before this morning's recreational training session in Gávea began, the players received a visit from libero Fabi, a gold medalist with the women's volleyball team at the China Olympics. A passionate Flamengo fan, Fabi received a jersey with her name and national team number (14) and wished everyone luck in tomorrow's derby against Fluminense.

"I've always been lucky for Flamengo, and tomorrow will be no different. I'm going to Maracanã, I'm going to cheer a lot, and I hope Leonardo Moura, who is my friend, scores a goal," said Fabi.

"You gave us great joy with this Olympic medal. You'll definitely bring us luck tomorrow," replied the red-and-black number 2.

Striker Obina, midfielder Ibson and defender Fabio Luciano also congratulated the team on their Olympic victory.

"We weren't always able to watch the games because of the time, but we cheered a lot. Just having you here made our atmosphere happier and our winning spirit even stronger. Congratulations to you and the entire team for making us proud with the Olympic gold medal," said Obina.
