While training at Ninho do Urubu, the players were observed by former teammate Vagner Love, currently playing for CSKA Moscow in Russia. Taking a break from the European cold, Love watched the training session and spoke with journalists present. Admitting he misses the club, he revealed that his plan is to return soon.
\Dreaming of playing in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Love says he's certain he'll return to play in the country after the tournament. However, he reveals that this could happen even sooner than expected.
\"I'll definitely be back at Flamengo one day. After 2014, for sure. I'll be here after the World Cup and, who knows, maybe even before. Who knows? I didn't expect Flamengo to be in this situation in the Brazilian Championship this year, considering everything we've been through and the signings that were being made. I thought the team would be better, but that's part of football," he explained.
\The striker, who has never hidden his desire to wear the sacred jersey again, admits that he feels a certain longing and desire to be on the field with his former teammates. However, the situation doesn't depend solely on him, as he is under contract with CSKA.
\"If I could, I would have already played against Cruzeiro and I would play against Santos to help Flamengo. I would like to trade the cold of Europe for the warmth of the fans. Not that I'm not happy in Moscow, but, for sure, staying here would be much better. I would wear the shirt today and train with my teammates," he concluded.
