The day after the red-and-black victory over Cardoso Moreira was a day of training in Gávea. Aiming for the match against Duque de Caxias on Sunday, the players returned this Friday afternoon (January 25th) and have already returned to training.
The players who started yesterday's match (24/01) only did relaxation and muscle recovery exercises at the Club's gym.
The rest of the squad participated in a training match against Castelo Branco. The red-and-black team took to the field with Diego, Luizinho, Rodrigo, Rodrigo Arroz, and Egídio; Gávilan, Cristian (Colace), Kleberson, and Léo Medeiros; Maxi (Paulo Sérgio), and Éder. The red-and-black team won 4-3, with three goals from Léo Medeiros and one from Paulo Sérgio.
After the activity, physical trainer Ronaldo Torres confirmed that striker Diego Tardelli will only be physically fit to debut in the game against América, on February 2, at Engenhão.
