Flamengo returned to training this Thursday afternoon (August 27.08th), focusing on the next round of the Brazilian Championship. The "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved) will face Sport on Sunday at 16 PM at Arena Pernambuco.
For the athletes who played on Wednesday (August 26.08th), the day consisted of physical work in the gym at the George Helal Training Center. The others, who did not play, participated in a practice match with Flamengo's junior team.
Guerrero and Ederson, who left the match against Vasco injured, were re-evaluated and received treatment. The number 10 suffered a mild strain in his left thigh adductor and is continuing treatment in Rio, therefore he will miss Sunday's game; his progress will be assessed daily. The striker suffered a sprained right ankle.
The Flamengo squad returns to training this Friday afternoon (August 28.08th) and, after the activities at Ninho do Urubu, they will travel to Recife.
