On the afternoon of this Sunday (15), the farewell of one of the greatest idols in the history of Flamengo, Adriano Imperador, took place. The game was scheduled between friends and former teammates of the red-black number 10.

Game

Flamengo, which started the match with Julio César; Léo Moura, Juan, Ronaldo Angelim, and Athirson; Júnior, Petkovic, and Diego Ribas; Vágner Love, Romário, and Adriano, attacked more than the Italian team, but the most dangerous play came from Hernanes, who shot against the post. Romário also nearly scored; the number 11 received a pass from Reinaldo in the six-yard box but couldn't reach the ball. The standouts of the first half were the goalkeepers; Júlio César and Dida worked hard to stop the players' shots.
 
In the second half, Adriano switched to the Italy side to play alongside his brother Thiago and his son Adrianinho, who immediately opened the scoring. Soon after, Athirson equalized and then provided an assist for Romário to score.

In the 24th minute, Pizarro drove down the left and crossed for the Emperor to score his first goal. During the celebration, players from both teams joined the party host.  

During the match, the game was paused to broadcast an AI-generated message to Adriano on his father's big screen. The number 10 was deeply moved, and all the players once again embraced the Emperor. He returned to play the final minutes of the match wearing a Flamengo jersey.

In the final play, Emerson Sheik was awarded a penalty and left it to Adriano to take and convert, ending his career with a flourish.
