The focus now is on the classic against Fluminense. Preparation for the duel that will take place at Mané Garrincha, in Brasília, continues firmly at the George Helal Training Center. After training this Tuesday (5), midfielder Jonas spoke about the match next Thursday (7), valid for the tenth round of the Brazilian Championship.
"We always go in focused. We are committed and we have a lot of respect for Fluminense, it's a classic match. We will go in focused and also maintain our composure to play another great game."
The number 14 also spoke about the healthy competition for his position with the Colombian Cuéllar.
"The competition is good and the marking starts up front. Cuéllar and I want to help Flamengo. This is also a credit to the group, because when everyone is doing well, the individual stands out. We also have to praise Barbieri, who has been working hard on this defensive system."
Finally, Jonas gave Flamengo the recipe to continue their good run in the 2018 season.
"We will continue to be consistent, always fighting for first place. We will also remain grounded, dedicated, and committed."
