After the team's activities on Tuesday morning (November 17.11th), Jorge spoke to the press. The left-back was serving with the Brazilian Olympic Team and returned to Flamengo at the George Helal Training Center, in preparation for Thursday's (November 19.11th) match against Santos, at Vila Belmiro.

The athlete, who came up through Flamengo's youth system, highlighted the importance of wearing the Brazilian national team jersey. "It's always good to be remembered by the Olympic team. I was happy for the opportunity. It's very important to be in this group," he said.

With his sights set on Flamengo's next match, Jorge also guaranteed that he aims to win all three points away from home and continue fighting at the top of the table. "The game will be important for us to get three points at Vila Belmiro. We are still thinking about securing a spot in the Libertadores. We want to get as many points as possible to achieve our goal," declared the left-back.
