It's this Saturday! After a long wait, Flamengo will face River Plate in the CONMEBOL Libertadores final today at 17 p.m. (Brasília time) at the Monumental Stadium in Lima, Peru. Coach Jorge Jesus held his final training session before the grand final this Friday (November 22nd) at La Videna, home of the Peruvian Football Federation. After lunch, the coach joined captain Everton Ribeiro for a press conference before inspecting the pitch at the final stadium.

"What do I feel? I feel the responsibility and prestige that a Libertadores Cup entails. It's a bit similar to what we define in Europe in the Champions League. It's a different continent. I take ten steps forward. In the Champions League, I've never reached the final. When we left the Nest, I felt like a nation chasing a dream. Not just Flamengo fans, but almost all of Brazil. We prioritize pleasure, passion, not emotion. When we think ahead, teams become stunted. We work on the pleasure aspect. What drives us is our confidence and pleasure," said Jesus.

Everton Ribeiro spoke about his dream of winning the Conmebol Libertadores and spoke about the Nation.

"It's a unique moment, where we have the chance to lift the trophy for our biggest goal of the year and make Flamengo's history. They moved the nation to come to Peru. We're focused on the game, on playing a great match, and then lifting the trophy," the captain emphasized.
