Flamengo's squad reconvened this Friday morning in Gávea to finalize details before tomorrow's match against Avaí at Maracanã. After a loss to Cruzeiro in their opening Brazilian Championship match, the red-and-black team needs to do its homework to fight back against the top spots.

Coach Cuca took advantage of today's training session to work on set plays and correct the team's positioning errors. Emerson, with pain in his left knee, is ruled out. Josiel replaces him. The rest of the team is the same as the one that faced Internacional: Bruno, Léo Moura, Aírton, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Toró, Willians, Kleberson, and Ibson; Everton and Josiel.
