Left-back Juan is one of Flamengo's standout players in this Brazilian Championship. With five goals, he has won the hearts of the Flamengo fans, and against Vasco da Gama, he will reach another important milestone in a Flamengo jersey: 100 appearances for the club.

During training this afternoon, the player received a plaque from the fans as a tribute. He couldn't hide his emotion.

"I'm very happy with this recognition. These are 100 games with a very special jersey. I'll keep working hard to stay in shape."

Juan is one of Joel's weapons for Thursday's classic (10/18). The full-back wants the team to be calm in order to win.

"We have to be calm in tomorrow's game. We'll pass the ball around and move around a lot to create space. A victory will be important for Flamengo."

The full-back is already looking forward to the biggest rivalry game in Rio de Janeiro football.
