Always displaying a strong sense of personality and professionalism, Juan stated that now is the time to work to overcome this difficult period. According to the player, the Flamengo fans know his potential and his passion for wearing the Flamengo jersey.

"I was hoping to return at the same pace as last year. The first game was pretty much like that, but then the injury came (a knock to my right leg). I was behind the group, but with my match fitness, I'll get back to where I was before. This game against Cabofriense was practically my first of the season. Those who follow me daily know that I do everything I can to improve. I'm working hard and dedicating myself to getting even better. The fans will hold me accountable regardless of the past. They know my potential and my passion for playing for Flamengo."

Juan stated that he is still adapting to the new game plan adopted by Cuca.

"I'm feeling this tactical change in the team a bit. Angelim and I used to make a lot of plays on the left, but he got injured, and I'm missing him. But I'm working to adapt. The team has already shown some improvement, and we're looking to keep improving. We had a solid performance in the first half of the game against Cabofriense. After that, we had a dip, but overall, it was good."
