The full-back is released by the TJD to play after the deciding vote of the chairman of the board José Augusto Di Giorgio

Juan is cleared to play in the second game of the final

LANCEPRESS!

Flamengo left-back Juan was acquitted on Wednesday afternoon by the Rio Sports Court (TJD-RJ) for criticisms made by the player to the press after the Rio Cup semi-final between Rubro-Negro and Botafogo, on the 13th. The player complained after the match to Péricles Bassols Cortez, claiming that he lacked criteria during the match.

Rapporteur Wagner Lima and auditors Jacinto Araújo and Luiz Bomfim had differing opinions on Juan's criticism. Wagner wanted to punish the full-back with two games, Bonfim with one, while Jacinto absolved the player. Due to the discrepancy in punishments, the presiding judge, José Augusto Di Giorgio, decided to issue a verdict and acquit the player.

With the decision, Juan is free to play in the second game of the State Championship final, next Sunday.
