Flamengo beat Ceará 3-0, on Sunday afternoon (29), and won three more important points in the Brazilian Championship. After the match, defender Juan spoke to the press in the mixed zone of the Castelão stadium, in Fortaleza, and commented on the great away win.

“The fans who came to the stadium supported us a lot and we want it to continue like this. We have an important match ahead against Emelec at home in the Conmebol Libertadores and it was very difficult to play without them. It will be very important to have them back,” said the number 4.

Juan also commented on the protests that took place when Flamengo left Rio de Janeiro. “We didn’t understand why at that moment. Our objectives can be achieved; we’re at the beginning of the season. It’s a minority; Flamengo has 40 million fans. We have to find strength and continue working; our objectives are ambitious,” he concluded.

Flamengo returns to the field on Wednesday (2), at 19:30 pm, when they face Ponte Preta at Moisés Lucarelli for the Copa do Brasil. In the Brazilian Championship, Mengo hosts Internacional on Sunday (6), at 16 pm, at Maracanã.
