The excellent form he has been going through makes left-back Juan one of Flamengo's main players in the 2007 Brasileirão.

Having scored five goals in this championship, the player doesn't hide his happiness with the phase he's going through.

- "It's different being a top scorer, but it's great. I hope I can keep scoring goals to help Flamengo."

Regarding the game plan that coach Joel Santana has been adopting, Juan believes that the full-backs are having more opportunities to attack.

"The strategy our coach has been implementing is very good, both for me and for Léo Moura. The chances of scoring goals increase with this strategy."

Juan is close to signing a new contract with Flamengo, until 2010. The number 6 from Gávea declared all his love for the Club.
