Juan and Julio Cesar's friendship is not recent. Together since their indoor soccer days, even before arriving at Flamengo, the duo met again on the field this Wednesday (7), when Rubro-Negro beat Boavista 3-0 at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, in Volta Redonda. After the match, the defender spoke about the goalkeeper's return, in addition to extolling his excitement before the game.

"I feel happy and proud to be able to be even more involved in the end of Julio's career. We started together not only at Flamengo, but also in indoor soccer from an early age. We grew up together and are used to seeing each other on the field. It's incredible to be able to experience this emotion together at the end of his career. He's a role model for the younger generation, he's won several titles, he's one of the greatest goalkeepers in Brazilian history. Seeing the emotion he feels when wearing the Flamengo jersey and playing... we know the sacrifices he makes daily to stay healthy. He gave an emotional speech, and we saw how deeply he feels about this moment," said the defender.

Flamengo returns to the field next Saturday (10), at 19:30 pm, at the Cláudio Moacyr de Azevedo Stadium, the Moacyrzão.
