"We'll perform an arthroscopy on his right knee. He has a cartilage injury in his femur, and it's bothering him. He tries, but it doesn't get better. It's an unavoidable procedure. If it were a meniscus injury, the minimum time is three weeks. But when it's cartilage, we need to check the depth and size, and then we can be certain."

Runco also said that forward Emerson, with pain in his right thigh, will be reevaluated tomorrow. The number 11 is doubtful for Sunday's match against Náutico at Maracanã.
