Gávea's eternal number 5 launched a book and was honored by friends at home

One of Gávea's most successful sons returned to his eternal home on Thursday night (May 13.05). Maestro Junior welcomed friends and fans to a crowded autograph session in the club's main hall, and showed no signs of friendliness or smiles. For at least two hours, the Flamengo idol signed the book "My Passion for Football," released last week.
Because the launch was so well attended, Capacete decided to hold a book signing. And the venue couldn't have been more appropriate.
"The number of people who attended the launch was huge. I couldn't accommodate everyone, so I had the idea of holding a book signing. It wasn't difficult to choose the location. It had to be in Gávea, which is my second home. It couldn't be any other way," said Junior.
Several past idols paid tribute to their friend, including former goalkeeper Cantarelli. President Patricia Amorim also brought her book for Junior to sign, as did coach Rogério Lourenço and football manager Isaías Tinoco.
