Flamengo's youth team won third place in the Monthey International Football Tournament yesterday, with a 2-0 victory over the Kosovo National Team.

Playing as he did in every match of the tournament, strong in marking and with a quick and engaging touch of the ball, he didn't even allow the opponent to get past the midfield in the second half, when Bruno Paulo scored both goals of the game.

The red-black superiority was so great that the tournament's selection, chosen by former Swiss players, was composed of 1 player from Hajduk Split, runner-up; 4 from Tottenham, champion, and 6 from Flamengo.

The chosen ones were: Marcelo Carné, Rafael Galhardo, Raphael Cavalcanti, Jorbison, Peka and Bruno Paulo.

Marcelo also received the trophy for best goalkeeper and fewest goals conceded in the competition.
