Juniors continue to fight for the OPG Tournament title
Rubro-negro is the leader of group B of the competition, with five wins and only one loss.
By Flamengo Archive - inFlamengo's youth team is on track for its third consecutive Otávio Pinto Guimarães Tournament title. Flamengo currently sits atop Group B with 15 points. Adílio's team has won five games and lost only one.
In the last round, Saturday, at CT Ninho do Urubu, the red-black kids had a great performance against Paraíba do Sul, and won 5-1. Paulo Sérgio (2), Erick Flores, Diguinho and Léo Ribeiro scored Flamengo's goals.
Striker Paulo Sérgio is the standout performer in the team's bid for a third title. He scored both goals for the red-and-blacks in their 2-0 victory over Volta Redonda in the penultimate round of the OPG tournament and is one of the competition's top scorers with seven goals.
In the next round, Flamengo visits São Cristovão, Wednesday, at 10 am, at the Figueira de Melo Stadium.
