Kenedy is Flamengo's newest signing! The 25-year-old attacking midfielder, who plays for Chelsea, has signed a one-year loan deal with the club. The player arrives at the Gávea club for the Brazilian Championship, Copa do Brasil, and Libertadores, and is another option for coach Renato Gaúcho.

A product of Fluminense's youth academy, Kenedy transferred to Chelsea in 2015. He has also had loan spells with clubs in England (Watford and Newcastle) and Spain (Getafe and Granada). It was in Spain, in fact, that the midfielder excelled last season.

In addition to his speed and skill, characteristics that have already attracted attention since his days in Brazilian football, the player has honed his physicality and long-range finishing. Kenedy is considered a versatile athlete, capable of playing on either the right or left flank of attack.
