Manager disapproves of shirt created by São Paulo and asks for a decision from the Club of 13

Kléber Leite is upset by the São Paulo board's actions. The decision by a sportswear company that sponsors São Paulo, in agreement with the club's board, to create a commemorative shirt with the phrase "Penta Único" (Single Penthouse) was not well received in Gávea. The club's vice president of football, Kléber Leite, was outraged by the information and called the action unethical.

For the director, the Club of 13 needs to take action, since the decision to cancel the match against Sport in 1987 was made by the group, which was chaired by then-São Paulo president Carlos Miguel Aidar. The club's director is awaiting an official statement.

"If it was an action taken by São Paulo's board, it was unethical. And it's proof of disloyalty, since, at the time, the president of the Club of 13 was also president of São Paulo. It wasn't Flamengo that didn't want to play. It was a decision by the Club of 13," says the Flamengo director.

Kléber Leite went further and stated that the creation of the shirt is an "attack on the dignity" of the sport.

"It's disrespectful. The creation of this jersey is an attack on dignity. São Paulo, with a minimum of dignity, should make this very clear. Fábio Koff, president of the Club of 13, should raise the flag on his own initiative. We need to find a solution," analyzes Kléber Leite.
