Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, through its football department, clarifies

Regarding the news involving a possible interest from Flamengo in players Diguinho and Carlos Alberto, from Botafogo, the vice-president of football Kleber Leite clarifies

1) Due to the cordial relationship between the clubs and, in particular, with the president of Botafogo, Bebeto de Freitas, Flamengo would never look for players from that club without the knowledge of the black and white president;

2) Regarding the players' roles, Flamengo considers itself to be very well served in its squad;

3) Under no circumstances will Flamengo deal with the hiring of players before the end of the current Brazilian Championship.
