The signings of Renato Abreu and Leandro Amaral have helped Flamengo's squad gain even more momentum in its bid for the seventh title. The red-and-black squad is currently undergoing restructuring and is looking to improve its fitness, relying on experienced players who already know the club well. This is the case with Kleberson.

The supporter, world champion in 2002 with the Brazilian national team and who played in his second World Cup in 2010, in South Africa, made an analysis of the moment that Flamengo is going through and bets on hard work to achieve good results this season.

"The change has its good and bad sides. New, experienced players arrived, looking to make their mark, but important players who were already in sync left. But that's part of football. Flamengo is trying to find its feet, and work is underway to achieve the ideal," he said.

Aware that this process may not yield results in the short term, Kleberson, 31, believes that patience with Flamengo is needed until the team performs as well as possible.

"It's a long-term process. Technically, we may not be playing exceptionally well, but in terms of desire and tactical discipline, we're close to ideal. It takes patience to grow at the right time," said the player, who took the opportunity to deny rumors about a possible transfer.

"I have two years left on my contract, I'm happy here at Flamengo, my family is doing well in Rio de Janeiro... It all depends on what happens. I know how important I am to the club and I'll only leave if it's good for me and the club. It has to be a positive conversation for both of us," he concluded.
