Kleberson confident of victory at the Olympics
Midfielder highlights the return of the red-black spirit to the team and hopes for three points in the south

A few rounds ago, the talk among the red-and-blacks was a run of bad luck. A win and a draw in the derby against Fluminense followed, and the mood at Gávea changed. The players are feeling more relaxed and ready to begin climbing the table. No one knows exactly where they'll go yet, but expectations are high.
Experienced midfielder Kleberson knows Flamengo has the team to compete for the top spots, but he needs to dedicate himself to achieving that. And he needs to start as soon as possible to achieve any real results.
"We weren't supposed to be in the position we're in in the table. We're not comfortable. Ideally, Flamengo would be among the top. We have to go out and play with a lot of dedication and attention. That way, we can win and make our daily lives calmer. Until October 10th, we have two games per week, and we need to finish this period in the best possible position. That's the goal," he stated.
And Kleberson knows the recipe for Flamengo to escape the famous tight marking of the Gauchos and, with that, achieve victory.
"We know that playing in the south is tough. We face tougher marking, we have more tackles on the field, but we're alert. We have to keep more possession to be able to involve their team," he explained.
And if he won't be able to count on his midfield partner Willians, Kleberson isn't worried. After all, the players who can replace him maintain their quality.
"Unfortunately, we can't count on Willians for this match. Even so, I have a lot of faith in our midfield. We've been rotating for a while now, and whoever comes in will undoubtedly deliver. We won't have any issues with team chemistry. Everyone here expects to leave the Olímpico with a win," he concluded, unaware that coach Silas had already confirmed Correa's entry into the team.
