Kleberson is enjoying a fantastic moment at Flamengo. In two matches this season, he has been the most consistent midfielder, becoming a key player both offensively and defensively, and is steadily gaining the trust of the fans and coach Andrade. Experienced, a five-time World Cup champion in 2002 and already boasting last year's Brazilian title, the midfielder still dreams of another World Cup and hopes his strong performance at Flamengo will help him.

A special guest on the Arena SporTv program this Thursday afternoon, Kleberson spoke about all the expectations he has for 2010. The year of the Libertadores, the year of the World Cup... And, like every Flamengo fan, he has two dreams: to win titles with Flamengo, and of course, to see Brazil win the World Cup in South Africa. Preferably playing. Check out the main excerpts from the player's interview:

\

World cup: It's a goal for me. I played in the World Cup in 2002, I was champion, and I know how important that is for the Brazilian people. I'm very happy to be here in Brazil and even close to the Brazilian national team, closer to going than I was when I was in Turkey. Now that I'm more "visible," it's a goal, and I'll work towards it. I'm happy to have returned to the national team last year and to have gradually gained prominence in football again.

\

Flamengo squad: The players coming in need to get into rhythm and prove their worth to the club. And this year is very important for Flamengo: we have the Libertadores and high-level players. It's important that we're working well, even to give the other starters peace of mind when they return.

\

Andrade: I felt more confident, especially with Andrade. He's our manager today, and we respect him immensely for what he's done in football. When he sits down to talk to us, it's nothing but good things. Because of the trust he's placed in me, I try to do my best to be physically fit and be able to respond. I'm very happy for his affection for me.

\

Adriano and Vagner Love: They're players who know each other well and maintain a friendship off the field. Maybe Vagner can get out of the box a bit more, shooting from outside. This blister is sticking with him, even more so than his girlfriend. I'm rooting for him to recover, but it's tough. It's an injury that takes a long time. We're sad because he even trains in socks to avoid problems. We're hoping he heals soon and can return to playing.
