Five-time world champion Kleberson has played a key role in Flamengo's last two Brazilian Championship victories. After a patchy start with the club, the number 15 hopes to finally establish himself as one of the Gávea team's key players for the season.

"In the last two games, I've had more freedom to get forward, and I did well. I scored a goal and helped with the second goal against Sport. Here at Flamengo, everything is more difficult than at other clubs. Players are charged for 15 minutes on the field, for one pass. Some fit in quickly, while others take longer. I was a starter, I lost my position, but I never lost my personality and waited for my opportunity again. I'm much better than when I started here. The experience has helped me, and now I have to put what I know into practice to help the team maintain its good form."

With Ibson's situation uncertain, Kleberson could be a good option for coach Caio Júnior.

"I'm rooting for Ibson to stay, but I'm ready to step in and help if needed. Ibson prefers to get forward and finish, while I score more. But if Caio chooses me, it's a matter of adapting to his needs."
