Kleberson says he is happy with his participation in the World Cup
Supporter only regrets not having returned from South Africa with the sixth championship

Six-time Brazilian champion with Flamengo in 2009, Kleberson had the opportunity to also win his sixth world championship with the Brazilian national team in 2010. Called up by coach Dunga, he played in the World Cup in South Africa, participated in one match, but ended up returning to Rio earlier than expected, in the quarterfinals, with Brazil's defeat to the Netherlands.
The player did not hide his desire to have played more World Cup games, but celebrated the opportunity and understood the fact that he was not used as much by coach Dunga.
"We were there working and fighting for our place. I was happy and prepared. I didn't participate much in the games, but I was part of the 23. Of course I would have liked to have participated more, but it all depends on the nature of the game," explained the player, who took the opportunity to make it clear that he was not upset about being a reserve in the national team.
"Nothing bothered me. I'm an excellent professional, I always give my all at every club. The call-up is the result of hard work. Dunga and Jorginho trusted me and called me. Ganso and Neymar will still have their opportunities. He chose me for the experience; after all, I'm a world champion. I don't have to prove my worth and potential to anyone."
Valued and considered a key player in the red-black squad, Kleberson guarantees that he is not considering leaving the club at this time.
"I'm coming back confident and happy to help Flamengo in the Brasileirão. Every time the European window opens, speculation arises. But there's nothing true. There's nothing concrete. I have a two-year contract and now is the time to unite for the Brasileirão," added the number 15, who had his first training session with the group on Thursday afternoon (08.07).
