Flamengo's 3-0 victory against Bangu this Wednesday (22), at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, in Volta Redonda, marked the 30th goal for Flamengo in the 2017 Carioca Championship. Leandro Damião, who entered in the final stage of the match, scored the second of the night and his fourth in the competition, showing his efficiency on the field.

In five games this year, Damião managed to score four times, including in the match against Portuguesa, when he scored three goals and was a key player in the victory. Against Bangu, the striker entered the game midway through the second half and scored his goal.

In the preseason, the player also scored Flamengo's goal in the 2-1 defeat against Vila Nova at Serra Dourada.

Flamengo has scored 37 goals this year in 15 official matches across all competitions. In the Campeonato Carioca (Rio de Janeiro State Championship), Flamengo is on a ten-game unbeaten streak, having won nine times and scored 30 goals.
