After the 1-0 victory against Cabofriense, on Sunday night (21), at Ilha do Urubu, defender Léo Duarte and midfielder Ronaldo spoke to the press about the duel and Flamengo's next matches in the Taça Guanabara.

"I like using my speed because it helps with counterattacks and stopping opponents' quick plays. I always try to take full advantage of that. I felt good physically because the preseason has been going really well. We only felt tired at the end, but that's natural. I've been a professional for two years and I want to contribute more this year," said the number 4.

Ronaldo wasn't pleased with the match. "We improved in the second half, but we weren't at our best. We really needed to keep the ball more. We suffered some unnecessary attacks from Cabofriense, but we gave everything Carpegiani asked for: grit and determination. We'll work to improve on Wednesday. It was a tough game, as they're a more grouped team that knows how to keep the ball. We know it can be difficult, but it's a good way to test our team. Little by little, we're getting in sync and always improving," he said.
