Flamengo's biggest change for the match against Figueirense is likely to be the selection of Léo Medeiros at left back. During Monday morning's tactical training session in Gávea, coach Joel Santana tested the left-handed midfielder in the position and said he liked what he saw. Léo, in turn, said he's willing to play in the position.

"I don't see any problem. When I played in midfield, I sometimes switched with Juan so he had more freedom to attack without worrying too much about getting back. Besides, at Ipatinga I played as a full-back and did well," he said.

Regardless of whether it's confirmed or not, the player stated that Flamengo will face a very difficult task on Wednesday. He asked for the fans' understanding if the goal takes a while to come.

"We're playing against a team that usually plays very well in defense, and that could make things difficult for us. The fans have been great, they're filling the stadium, and they have every right to boo if they're not happy with our performance, but I ask that they come to the stadium knowing that we have 90 minutes to get a result."
