One of Flamengo's standout players in the Brazilian Championship, right-back Léo Moura celebrated his 29th birthday this afternoon at training in Gávea. The player received a lot of affection from the dozens of children who attended the training session and thanked the red-and-blacks for their support.

"I'm happy to be able to celebrate my birthday at such a special time. I appreciate the fans' support and hope to reciprocate that support on the field."

The full-back couldn't hide his happiness and, when asked about the gift he would like to receive, the player had no doubts in answering the Brazilian National Team.

"I have to keep working to be remembered for the national team. Playing for a team like Flamengo helps a lot because of the visibility. The important thing is to maintain this good form so that when the opportunity arises, I'm ready."

With 49 points in the table and in sixth place, Flamengo faces América-RN, next Sunday, in Natal, and the full-back hopes for another good performance from the team to increasingly dream of a place in the 2008 Libertadores.

"We're going to Natal thinking about victory, to climb higher in the standings. We respect América, but we have to focus solely on a positive result. It will be a tough game, because América plays without taking responsibility for their current situation. Flamengo, on the other hand, has to focus on winning another away game, because it will be crucial."
