Full-back believes Flamengo fans will turn out in force at Serra Dourada

Wherever Flamengo plays, it always has millions of fans with it. And in Brazilian stadiums, it's common to see Flamengo fans cheering on the team across the country. This Sunday (July 18.07), Flamengo faces Atlético-GO at Serra Dourada, and the team from Gávea expects massive support from local fans.
"Flamengo's fans are always there. Every time we play in Goiás, they feel at home, and I'm sure it won't be any different against Atlético," said the full-back.
The number 2 believes the fans can make all the difference in Flamengo's favor. According to him, the match against Atlético won't be easy, and therefore, the fans' encouragement will make all the difference.
"A win always brings peace of mind, but we can't stop here. Winning the derby isn't enough. We have to keep working. We've already been in last place, and it won't be easy to face a team trying to escape the relegation zone," the player noted.
Now the red-black captain, Leo believes that the team can only improve with the rest of the competition and is betting on Flamengo's success in the Brasileirão.
"The team will gain momentum with the signings. My responsibility is even greater now, but I believe what counts is the respect I have from my teammates. A string of good results is important because Flamengo wants to go far in the competition," he added.
