Léo Moura praises Adriano
For the full-back, the presence of the striker makes the work of the red-black team easier.
By Flamengo Archive - inAfter training this afternoon at CT Ninho do Urubu in Vargem Grande, number 2 Léo Moura was full of praise for striker Adriano, the Brazilian Championship's top scorer with ten goals. According to the full-back, the number 10's presence in the Flamengo attack makes the entire Flamengo team's work easier.
"Playing with Adriano is a pleasure. He's a huge help because he knows how to position himself and finish like few others. He has a great knack for scoring goals. That's good for Flamengo. The more goals he scores, the better for us."
With an eye on the South American, Léo stated that Flamengo has the squad to compete in two competitions simultaneously.
"I think we should play a mixed team on Wednesday. We're playing one game after another in the Brazilian Championship, and we have a very difficult match against Grêmio on Sunday. We'll prioritize the Brazilian Championship, but we won't neglect the South American. We have a Fla-Flu match coming up, which is always a motivating match. We have to be alert because it's a knockout competition, and the first game is always very important."
