Fábio Luciano, Ronaldo Angelim, Douglas, Egídio, Zé Roberto, Leonardo Moura, Everton, and Obina joined the youth team for a rigorous team training session organized by assistant coach Andrade. The activity served as preparation for the decisive Fla-Flu match on Sunday, which will determine a place in the final of the Taça Rio, the second round of the Campeonato Carioca.

Forward Josiel, who is experiencing pain in his left thigh, only ran laps around the field. The number 9 is not a concern for the coaching staff ahead of the derby.

After training, number 2 Léo Moura stated that the Fla-Flu derby is a special game that excites both the fans and the players. According to the player, the rivalry between the teams for dominance in the Campeonato Carioca (Rio de Janeiro State Championship) is yet another ingredient for Sunday's big match.
