Flamengo's squad returned this morning to Gávea for their final training session before heading to Curitiba, where the red-and-black team will face Atlético-PR tomorrow at 17 p.m. at Arena da Baixada. A victory in this match could see Flamengo qualify for the 2009 Copa Libertadores.

After recreational training, right-back Léo Moura assured that the group heads south confident of securing a spot in the biggest competition in the Americas. According to the number 2, the red-and-black team had a great campaign during the Brazilian Championship and deserves one of the four spots in the Copa Libertadores.

"It wouldn't be fair for Flamengo to be left out of the Libertadores. We had a great campaign during the Championship and I think we deserve this spot. We know it will be a tough game. The Arena da Baixada will be packed, and they need a win. Their difficult position in the standings makes it even more difficult. But our team is experienced, we trained well throughout the week, and I believe we'll arrive prepared. We need to be attentive, defend well, and take advantage of our opportunities. I have a lot of faith in our team, and we'll fight until the end."
