Tranquility. That's the watchword for Flamengo's captain, Leonardo Moura, regarding the team's upcoming performance in the Brazilian Championship. The right-back believes the team still has plenty of time to turn things around in the competition. There are still 18 rounds left in the Brasileirão, and the player believes it's necessary to remain calm for the team to start a winning streak.
"We need to remain calm, because there's still the entire second round ahead. We need to work calmly," he said.
The full-back believes that, in addition to that, the Flamengo team is lacking a bit of luck.
"We have the quality. We're just running into problems with the opposing goalkeepers. Rogério, for example, made a great save on Jean's header, I hit a free kick against the crossbar, I believe we just need to be a little more precise," said the player, whose words were reinforced by Juan.
"If we have the same determination we had in the second half of the game against São Paulo, the victories will come easily," he concluded.
