One of the most capped Flamengo players in the current squad, right-back Léo Moura expects a fiercely contested match on Thursday against Bangu in Volta Redonda. The Gávea No. 2 recalled the difficulties of the opening match and said that teams considered small have been working on their physical and tactical skills since last year.

"It will be a complicated and difficult match, just like the one against Friburguense. We're at the beginning of the season and we're improving with each round. I believe we'll already be playing better football on Thursday. We'll respect Bangu, but we know we need to win. A victory would put Flamengo very close to securing a spot in the semifinals."
