Leo Moura wants victories in "five finals"
For the full-back, the final rounds of the Brazilian Championship should be treated as crucial matches.
By From the official website team - inAtlético-PR (at home), Atlético-MG (away), Guarani (home), Cruzeiro (home) and Santos (away). These are Flamengo's five finals in the 2010 Brazilian Championship. Five points away from the relegation zone, in the qualifying zone for the 2011 Copa Sudamericana and wanting to stay that way, Flamengo knows it will need a lot of effort in the final stretch of the competition.
Right-back and captain Leonardo Moura believes the team is on the right track to finish the year "in a dignified manner." According to him, Flamengo needs to have a good end to 2010 while also thinking about 2011.
"The group is coming together in this final phase. Unfortunately, we're reaching our ideal form at the end of the championship. There are five more games ahead, they will be five finals. We want to finish the year in a dignified way, to compete in the Copa Sudamericana. We're going for that because next year is another championship that gives us the right to play in the Libertadores," he said.
And to succeed at this time, Leo, one of the players most identified with the fans in the group, is asking for the supporters' support.
"Now we need to focus on the game against Atlético-PR and the next five games which, as I said, will be like finals. We need the support of the fans and we will work hard to get the victories," he concluded.
