Wearing Flamengo's number 2 shirt since 2005, Léo Moura has accumulated titles, glories and many fans. And this Saturday (08.01), the player, one of the most beloved by the fans, in the current squad, wrote another chapter in his beautiful story at the club: he signed a contract until the end of 2012.

The player, still recovering from a bad cold, spoke briefly with the official website team in Londrina, where he is doing pre-season training with Flamengo, and celebrated the deal.

"Everyone already knew I wanted to stay. It was my wish, the club's too, and I knew it would happen. I'm happy to be here for another year, and I hope not just for one year, but for much longer so I can continue here winning titles and helping Flamengo," he said.

Léo Moura has played 308 times for Flamengo, scoring 38 goals and providing 51 assists. His most notable achievements with the club include the 2009 Brazilian Championship, the 2006 Brazilian Cup, and the three-time Carioca Championship (August 7, 2009).
