Right-back highlights the importance of the next two weeks for Flamengo's season

Starting Wednesday (March 10.03), the Rubro-Negro faces a marathon of matches that will be decisive for its ambitions in both the Campeonato Carioca and the Copa Santander Libertadores.
And with so many important matches ahead, right-back Leonardo Moura already knows what it will take for the team to achieve victories. Having played at Gávea since 2005, he participated in two Libertadores campaigns and won three state titles, and he indicates that group unity will be crucial to minimize burnout.
"It's going to be a very exhausting 15 days, but our determination for the Libertadores will give us even more energy. We have to have the will to overcome this, and also rest when possible," he noted.
And to further facilitate the work on the field, Léo Moura expects Flamengo to play with 11 players instead of 12, both in classic matches and in international competitions.
"Flamengo is used to winning titles. We win at least one a year, and we know the fans will hold us accountable. We can't afford to be discouraged. We'll always fight until the end, and we hope the fans are on our side," he added.
