One of Flamengo's most well-known players, Leonardo Moura, made a point of sending a message to the club's fans after Wednesday's match in Chile: he hopes to be available for Andrade's derby against Botafogo. The full-back sprained his right ankle in the match against Universidad de Chile, but will begin treatment as soon as possible for next Sunday's match at the Engenhão stadium.

"I'm hoping to be on the field on Sunday. I think I might be able to. I got injured at a time when I was doing well, creating plays, but I ended up stepping on the opponent's foot after I went up to head the ball and hurt myself. I'll start treatment as soon as possible to play at the Engenhão," reveals the number 2.

Leo Moura, who was replaced by Everton Silva in the second half after being carried off the field on a stretcher, was pleased with the team's performance, despite the loss. According to the player, the mistakes made serve as lessons for the rest of the season.

"It was a well-played game. Flamengo could have come back and won the game, but they didn't. They're a good team, and we knew this could happen. We've learned from this game that we can't make mistakes. The fans can be sure that we've already learned this and we're going all out against Botafogo," he added.
