Leading group 4 of the Conmebol Libertadores, Mais Querido returns to the field this Wednesday (25) for the international competition and the opponent will once again be Independiente Santa Fé (COL). Before the first training session on Colombian soil, full-back Renê spoke about the precautions that Mais Querido must take to return to Rio de Janeiro with three points in their luggage.

"I believe Santa Fé will play similarly to how they did at Maracanã. Their team has had a certain style of play for some time now, based on the videos we've watched. They're always defensive and looking for counterattacks. I think they'll try to exploit this and take advantage of our mistakes, but we'll try to prepare ourselves so we don't make those mistakes and don't let them play the way they want," said the full-back.

Flamengo in Bogotá

The Mais Querido arrived in Bogotá last Monday (23) and with no time to rest, the players went to work. Shortly after landing on Colombian soil, the athletes trained at El Campincito.
