Lomba praises Flamengo's offensive stance
The goalkeeper believes the team played well against Santos and can secure a victory against São Paulo.

Flamengo didn't win, it's true, but they left the field to a standing ovation from their fans last Sunday (September 05.09th) at Maracanã. The fans sang the club's anthem and recognized the dedication of all the players in the duel with Santos. The ball stubbornly refused to go in again, but the red-and-blacks' attacking stance and will to win were rewarded with the unconditional support of the Nation, which is the twelfth player on this team.
Goalkeeper Marcelo Lomba knows this and also celebrates the team's excellent performance. He thanked the fans for their support and only regretted not being able to repay it with a victory.
"I'm happy with the change in attitude. The team played well, created chances, but the ball didn't go in. We thank the fans, we know they leave here a little sad that we didn't get the result," said the goalkeeper, who also analyzed his performance.
"I think I did well, I made some good saves, and I'm here to help the team. It's just a shame we didn't get the win," he noted.
The red-black goalkeeper also highlighted that the group has been training hard to recover in the Brasileirão and fight for the top positions.
"We have to keep working. We have no shortage of desire and hard work and we have to keep fighting for victories," he added.
