Lomba asks the team to make the most of home advantage
Goalkeeper says Fla can't even think about a result other than victory this Saturday

Coming off a four-game unbeaten streak, the team from Gávea is looking for another victory to continue its push for the top spots in the competition. To achieve this, goalkeeper Marcelo Lomba believes that the Rubro-Negro must impose its rhythm of play from the start.
\"It's a home game, so we need the three points. There's no other way to look at this match. We have to control the game and go for the win," he said.
Asking for the fans' support, Lomba explains that the Nação Rubro-Negra (Red-Black Nation) plays a crucial role in the Rio de Janeiro clashes. Aware that the Red-Black fans still need to get used to playing at the Engenhão stadium, he asks that fans, even if they encounter difficulties, try to overcome them and support the team.
"Flamengo fans will definitely turn out in large numbers and help us. It's common for fans to still be getting used to games at the Engenhão stadium, but I'm sure they'll pack the matches there too and push us towards victories," said the goalkeeper, who also praised his upcoming opponent.
"We respect Palmeiras, they're a great team, have great players, and a talented coach, but we can't be intimidated. We're playing at home, we have to go all out and do everything we can to come away with the three points," he added.
