Flamengo's newest signing, striker Vagner Love, will travel with the group to Volta Redonda, but his starting lineup against the team from the Steel City still depends on several factors. According to Vice President of Football Marcos Braz, Love will only be able to play if he registers with the Federation this Tuesday. Documentation from CSKA is still pending to finalize the transfer.

"I can't believe this [the arrival of the documentation this Tuesday] is going to happen, it's very difficult," said the director during training in Gávea. One of the obstacles, according to Braz, is the seven-hour time difference between the Russian time zone and Brasília time.

"The Russians are still evaluating his situation. There's the issue of the player's insurance, which they need to make a change to because of the time the striker will be coming here. Not to mention the time difference. We're trying, but I don't think he'll play," he added.

Love's future strike partner, Emperor Adriano, won't be going to Volta Redonda. The player's request was granted and he will remain in Rio, recovering from the foot injury he sustained in late November.

Game at Engenhão - Another new development is that the game against Bangu, initially scheduled for Moça Bonita, will be held at Engenhão Stadium on the same day and time as previously scheduled: Saturday at 17 p.m. It's worth noting that, to date, Flamengo is undefeated at João Havelange Olympic Stadium: they have played five games there and won them all.
