"It means a lot, because our job is at stake. Whether it's in the Libertadores Cup or the Copa do Brasil, Flamengo always has to go in to win and always want to be at the top. That's what we players are trying to do on the field," said the number 11.

Even without creating many scoring opportunities, Flamengo managed to impose themselves on the game and relied on quick counter-attacks. Paquetá spoke about the style of play displayed at Independência.

"We had the game under control. The scares we had were from balls crossed into the box. Now we have to keep working. We know that when we have the ball at our feet, our team plays better. That's what makes our team grow."

Flamengo returns to the field for the Brazilian Championship next Thursday at 16 PM against Bahia. The match will be valid for the eighth round of the national competition and will take place at the Maracanã stadium. Fans can purchase tickets for this game. clicking here.
